Two vehicles collided at the entrance to the Towe String Road Convenience Center

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- One person was transported by Campbell County EMS on Monday afternoon after being injured in a car-truck accident. The patient was taken to the La Follette Medical Center Emergency Room.

The call came in to Central Dispatch at 4:28pm when a small Chevy pick-up truck and a Ford sedan wrecked into each other. Airbags deployed in the Ford.

Afternoon going home travelers were slowed down as they traveled Towe String Road.

In addition to Campbell EMS, the rural fire service and sheriff’s office responded along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol to the Towe String Road collision. (WLAF NEW S PUBLISHED – 08/06/2024-6AM)
