JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism has approved the addition of a new membership level for Authors and Artisans! Whether you paint, woodwork, black smith, word smith and more, you are welcome to become a new chamber member.

According to Chamber of Commerce Director Missy Tackett, the chamber is “thrilled to offer this brand-new Chamber Membership Level to Authors & Artisans!”

“Our hope is this membership will create valuable opportunities for members to share knowledge, gain inspiration, and achieve their creative and professional goals,” Tackett said.

She also said that this change came from Membership Committee.

“Any additions or changes to membership levels are discussed with the Chamber Membership Committee. After discussion regarding the new level of membership and benefits, the potential new level was presented and approved by our Board of Directors at our July meeting,” Tackett said.

Chamber membership benefits are many and include an open invite to chamber board meetings, a new member spotlight, website listing and links to your webpage, contact materials displayed in the chamber lobby, use of chamber board room for events and much more!

The membership fee for Authors and Artisans is $150.00 annually. According to Tackett, who said the membership will be a great networking opportunity and more for area artists.

“For Authors and Artisans, a Chamber membership will potentially provide access to networking events with fellow authors and artists, and opportunities to collaborate with others and/or showcase their writings and work. These activities could significantly boost their craft and career prospects, through increased visibility, and professional growth,” Tackett said.

Through the chamber, members “can stay informed about the latest trends and techniques in their field, connect with potential customers, and build a supportive community of like-minded creators.”

â€œThe Author and Artisan Membership Level serves as a way to foster a sense of belonging and provide an environment for growth and development. We want to encourage continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that members remain at the forefront of their respective fields,” Tackett said.
