There were 5,599 Campbell Countians who voted

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The August 1st election night results are in, with incumbent Brandon Partin remaining as Campbell County’s property assessor by a wide margin. Partin received 3,657 votes while Marie Ayers garnered 1,614 votes. Clark Ford’s tally came in at 218 votes.

It was a close race for first district school board with incumbent Lisa Fields winning with 565 votes over Sherry Chapman’s 513 votes.

In the 2nd district school board race, Incumbent Brent Lester won with 458 votes while Marvin Rutherford received 299.

Brandon Johnson won third district school board with 751 votes to 511 votes for Jessica Childress.

Former Campbell Sheriff Robbie Goins was a special guest with WLAF’s Susan Sharp Thursday night during election coverage on WLAF.

It was also a close race for the 4th district school board seat with Jamie Wheeler winning with 602 votes against incumbent Josh James, who wasn’t far behind with 572 votes.

Ryne Cummins won the 5th District School Board race by a wide margin of 703 votes over Bob Walden who received 300 votes.

Ron Dilbeck ran unopposed for Campbell County Road Superintendent.  He received 4,734 votes.

Dennis Powers (above) ran unopposed for State Representative and received 3,927 votes. 

In the Tennessee Senate District 12, Ken Yager won with 3,667 votes over Teena Hedrick’s 538 votes. Yager will be the republican running in November.
