
State Representative Dennis Powers led the ceremony

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On a very hot Saturday at noon, about 55 people gathered to pray for Tennessee and America while trying to find a shaded area. Â

Rev. Patrick Arbo of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro led a devotion for our country. Â
State Representative Dennis Powers led the ceremony, and he was joined by Representative Monte Fritts who read House Joint Resolution 803. The resolution calls for July to be a month of prayer and fasting for our state and country. Â State Senator Ken Yager led a prayer for our state and Rev. Patrick Arbo of First Baptist Church of Jacksboro led a devotion for our country. Â

Patriotic music was led by Alice Wolfe and the opening prayer was led by Chaplain J. T. Asbury with the Campbell County Honor Guard. Â
