
Traffic was temporarily down to one lane early Friday morning as a minor concrete spill was cleared.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A loaded concrete truck lost some concrete to avoid a wreck around sun up on Friday morning. In the heart of La Follette is where the spill happened.
A car decided to make a hard right turn in front of the cement mixer, and the driver of the big truck risked losing some concrete over hitting the car, according to one official.
Crews with La Follette Public Works and firefighters with the La Follette Fire Department cleared the parking lanes of the concrete mixture including a lot of gravel along Central Avenue above and below Tennessee Avenue.
Eastbound traffic was temporarily down to one lane, and the lane was reopened at 7:15am. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/12/2024-7AM)
