Elkie is this the “Pet of the Week”

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Elkie, the dog, is looking for his furever home.

Elkie recently went on an outing from the animal shelter with his Homeward Bound volunteer, and here’s what his volunteer had to say about him.

“Elkie and I went to the park this morning. After we took care of an initial surge of energy, we were off. He did great in the car, made friends with the park warden, rolled on the cool grass when it got a little too hot and stopped for a pup cup. He is all smiles- with an inner puppy ready at a moment’s notice. Amazingly enough he is super quiet- I just love him!”
