Register of Deeds office is closed today through June 21

Remodeling of office is taking place

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The remodeling of the Register of Deeds Office is prompting the office to be closed for six business days. The project and closure begins today, Thursday, June 13. “I’ll be an email away (ccregisterofdeeds@gmail.com) to help during the closure, and documents can be dropped off in the Register of Deeds drop box, no cash, please, on the lower level of the courthouse,” said Brittany Miller Foust, Register of Deeds.

The office is closed from Thursday, June 13 through Friday, June 21. The courthouse will be closed for holiday on June 19. “I am sending out this notice to ensure that everyone is informed of and aware of this closure. I ask that you please be patient with us during this remodel, and I apologize for any inconvenience,” said Foust.
