There was an accident with injury near Big O’s Valley Saturday afternoon.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – There were, at least, four wrecks with injury happening on Saturday.

The first wreck of the day on Saturday was at 9:30am on Long Hollow Road with one person taken to the La Follette Medical Center.

Around 4:30, there was a two vehicle wreck on Stiner Highway in front of Big O’s Valley. There were injuries to some involved, and a medical helicopter was requested but was unable to fly due to the stormy weather.
As that wreck was being worked, there was a call of a two vehicle wreck with injuries on Howard Baker Highway, near the Pioneer Post Office. A couple of people were involved in an altercation after the wreck happened, according to a dispatcher with Central Dispatch.

Around 5:30pm, the Campbell County Rural Fire Service (above) was called to a possible house fire at Pinecrest. The house was struck by lightning and suffered some damage, and the fire was out when the CCRFS arrived, according to CCRFS Captain Daniel Lawson.
