JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – An auction will be held on Friday at 9am at the courthouse to sell property that’s left on the list of delinquent property taxes for the year 2021 and any previous outstanding years. See the full list HERE .
“We’re hoping folks will pay their property tax, because we don’t ever want to sell anyone’s property. However, if the tax is not paid, this property will be sold at auction for the delinquent property taxes,†said Dennis Potter, Campbell County Clerk & Master.
Unless prior payment is made to the office of the Clerk & Master by Thursday (this afternoon), May 9, 2024, at 4:30, the subject property will be sold on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 9am, in the Chancery Courtroom in the Campbell County Courthouse at Jacksboro, Tennessee.
The Clerk & Master’s office will not accept any personal checks for the 2021 tax year or any prior tax years through today. Delinquent tax payments must be paid in cash, cashier’s check, money order, credit card or debit card. Please note that all card payments have an added 4% fee.
