JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – “We’ll be going strong on fundamentals these eight days we have for spring practice,” said new Campbell Coach Head Football Coach Mark Pemberton. The first of those eight days begins today on Reynolds Field.
Pemberton has coached elsewhere on turf fields and says it really helps practice. Having lines and hash marks are a plus compared to practicing on a non-marked field.
“We’ll go Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday the first two weeks and then finish up Tuesday and Thursday of that third week,” said Pemberton. The Cougars will go 90-minutes each day in the spring.
“That hour and a half practice is also about what we’ll do during the season. We can get our conditioning in and what else we need to do,” said the first-year Cougar Coach.
