Some dogs have found their “fur”ever homes through Pet of the Week

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – In October 2023, WLAF began a new feature pet of the week where adoptable animals at the animal shelter are featured. In the six months since its beginning, 13 dogs have been featured. Of the 13 dogs featured, five dogs were adopted leaving eight dogs. Of the eight remaining dogs, three went to rescue and five are still awaiting adoption.

The dogs who were adopted were Blaze, Kelso, Capone, Chloe, and CoCo.

The adoption center is open Tuesday – Saturday, 12:00 – 5:30 pm at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, phone: 423-566-8018.
