Logan’s last day at the library was Friday

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Caryville librarian Logan Birdsong said goodbye on Friday, March 8.  Logan has served as the Caryville Librarian for the past seven years.

During her time as head librarian, she earned her librarian certification.  Under her leadership, Caryville saw growth in the summer reading program and the Lego Club.

Logan started several other programs, including the Harry Potter Book Club, which currently has about 200 members.  The Christmas program draws around 250 people yearly.  Other programs started by Logan include the Murder Mystery book club, 3rd Thursday book club and Book Tok.

Logan holds a degree in computer science and plans on continuing her education.

Logan receives high praise from her co-workers and those that visit the library.  She will definitely be missed. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/11/2024-6AM)
