Proffitt, Thompson and Whited are driving CAK’s post season run

KNOXVILLE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Christian Academy of Knoxville’s (CAK) Lady Warriors are fresh off winning Saturday’s District 1-A Championship and a first round East Region game on Monday.

Izzy Proffitt, Colie Thompson and Karlie Whited, all with Campbell County roots, are leading the way for the Blue and Gold in the post season.

CAK plays Friday at Chattanooga in the semi-finals of the East Region Tournament. At Silverdale Baptist Academy is where CAK faces the Buccaneers of Boyd Buchanan High School. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/15/2024-6AM-PHOTO SUBMITTED)
