Jemenda Lea (Mendy) Moore, age 55, of LaFollette

Jemenda Lea (Mendy) Moore, age 55, of LaFollette passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024. Mendy enjoyed photography, camping, and spending time with her family. She was so proud of her children and supported them in all of their endeavors, including the Campbell County Band. Mendy worked for congress woman Marilyn Lloyd and the Department of Energy in Oak Ridge. She later became a Tupperware Star Director where she earned a car. Mendy was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Father: Leon Huckaby, Grandparents: Polete and Ada Huckaby, Ben and Dorothy Comer, Nephew: Brian Huckaby

Nephews: Brett Starrett, Ashton Huckaby, Jackson Bourff and Bryan Moore

Nieces: Ashley Huckaby and Brooklyn Berry

Sister-in-Law: Amy Bourff

Family will receive friends 12-2 PM, Wednesday, January 24th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Chris Thomas and Rev. J. R. Kitts officiating. Interment will follow funeral service at Powell Valley Cemetery.
