LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The LaFollette Regional Planning Commission had its monthly meeting at City Hall Thursday evening.
First, John Snodderly requested an informal consultation about the City abandoning a portion of East Elm Street in the 100 block. Stan Foust advised the commission to approve this request and send it on to council due to the street ending on a bluff.
High Street Baptist Church requested an amendment on its side and rear setbacks for the property located at 610 West Forrest Street. They requested that the side setback be 10 feet and the rear setback be 16 feet. Foust advised the commission to approve this request.
Finally, a preliminary site plan was presented to the commission by surveyor Dwight Crutchfield who was speaking for James and Elaine Nelson. The Nelsons are looking to build a four unit apartment building on Old Jacksboro Hwy. The preliminary plan passed with the owners to return with a hydrology study included in their final plan review with the commission. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/29/2023-6AM)
