LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The Tennessee Motel, once located at the intersection of Hwy 25W/Jacksboro Pike and Dossett Road, is featured in today’s Throwback Thursday.  

Back in the day, it wasn’t within the Lafollette or Jacksboro city limits. Today the property is part of Lafollette.  

The motel was owned by Hobart Bartley.  The Tennessee Motel at Caryville is part of this motel, literally. A section of the motel was moved to Caryville when the motel was relocated to be closer to I-75. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/12/2023-6AM)
