N. Marie Ayers (above) and Brandon G. Partin, the incumbent, were the first to introduce themselves and talk about their races for property assessor at last week’s first taping of WLAF’s 2024 Meet the Candidates Forum. The forum begins airing later in April. Clark Ford, the other candidate, chose not to participate.

LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- Last Wednesday night, WLAF began taping the 2024 Meet the Candidates Forum.

Over the past two weeks, the candidates for property assessor and school board have visited the WLAF Studio to record their portions of the ‘Meet the Candidates’ forum for the 2024 races.

Ron Dilbeck-Road Superintendent and State Representative Dennis Powers, unopposed candidates in their respective races, will also be featured in the forum.

The forum will start airing on Monday, April 22, at 6pm on WLAF-TV 1089 (Comcast). It will air every Monday and Friday on Channel 1089 at 6pm until the August Election.

Along with these telecasts, ‘Meet the Candidates’ will be available on demand on 1450wlaf.com under the Watch tab and on 1450wlaf on YouTube.

The first district school board candidates, Lisa Fields and Sherry Chapman, were extended invitations but did not participate.
