Steven Lee Vinsant, age 66, of Jacksboro

Steven Lee Vinsant, age 66, of Jacksboro, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024. He retired after 42 years of service from the State of Tennessee having retired as Regional Director of Tennessee Department of Labor. He was a member of LaFollette Church of Christ. He attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and graduated from Tusculum University. Preceded in death by Grandparents: Frank, and Mable Vinsant, Lee and Bessie Sharp, and several aunts and uncles.

Parents: Perry and Brenda Vinsant

Sister: Robin and David Longmire

Nephews: Josh Longmire, Luke, and wife Autumn Longmire

Great Nephews: Lincoln David Longmire, Arthur Lewis Longmire

Great Niece: Amelia Claire Longmire

Aunts: Betty Goins and Dorothy Sharp

A host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Wednesday, April 3^rd at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a funeral service at 7 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Ben Shafer and Josh Longmire officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 10 AM Thursday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11 AM Interment.

Pall Bearers will be Mark and Kray Vinsant, Eric Weaver, Don Burden, Luke Longmire, Jeff Price
