Campbell County Rural Fire Service, La Follette Fire Department, Forestry Division responded.

A brush fire was contained late Wednesday afternoon and nearby homes were spared.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – At 4:29pm Wednesday, firefighters with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service were dispatched to a report of a brush fire near a home on Powell Valley Shores Lane off Flatt Hollow Road.

Upon arrival, crews found three homes in danger. Crews protected the structure while also containing the fire to three acres.
