CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN. (WLAF)- With all of the votes counted for Campbell County in the Presidential Primary, former President Donald Trump was the forerunner of the Republican party with 2,668 votes.

One time South Carolina Gov. and former US Ambassador Nikki Haley came away with 253 votes.

Campbell County’s voter turnout was light for Super Tuesday’s Presidential Preference Primary.

On the Democratic side, President Joe Biden received 168 while 20 were uncommitted.

By 10:30pm, all ballots had been counted.

Overall 3,161 ballots were cast in Campbell County in the Super Tuesday Primary.

“It went better than expected,” said Mallory Rosenfeld, administrator of elections for Campbell County. “It was great.”
