Marietta Ford, age 81 went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 26,2024. She was a loving wife of 55 years to her best friend and husband Jack. Loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. No one ever left her house without a hug, a kiss, and I Love You. She loved cooking, sewing, gardening, fishing, riding 4 wheelers in the mountains and being on the beach.

Marietta is preceded in death by her husband, Jack K. Ford; parents, George and Wilma Richardson Pierce; and brother, Roy Mack Pierce.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald Ford and wife Vickie of Jacksboro, Kenny Ford and wife Amy of Huntsville; brothers, George Wayne Pierce “Buzz” and wife Clara of Jacksboro, Ronald David Pierce and wife Donna of Jacksboro, sisters-in-law, Ella Jean Pierce and Betty Ward and Arvil; grandchildren, Tiffany Ford and Jordan Ford; special caregivers Kim Robbins and Shirley Morgan; special friends Pat Hembree and husband Lawrence and Linda Pierce and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 28, 2024 from 5 PM to 7 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 305 East Beech Street LaFollette, TN 37766 PM. Funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Rev. Ronnie “Bo” Freeman officiating. The family will meet on Thursday February 29, 2024 at 10:15 AM at the funeral home to go in funeral procession to Ford-Tiller Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.
