Mack Scott Siler, age 86, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, formerly of Whitley County, Kentucky, and Homestead, Florida, passed away on Thursday morning, February 22, 2024, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

He was born on March 28, 1937, to the late Homer Siler and Minnie (Lawson) Siler in Whitley County, KY.  His paternal grandparents were the late Perry Siler and Margaret (Bolton) Siler.  His maternal grandparents were the late Bill Lawson and Nancy (Davis) Lawson.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, he is preceded in by his son, Joel Alan Siler; daughter, Bonnie Jean Jones; son-in-law, Casey Jones, and six sisters, Clara Agnes Yater, Nellie Ann Williams, Mary Elizabeth Scott, Margie Lois Siler, Lola Myrtle Siler, and Mae Elizabeth Branson; and four brothers, Arnold Floyd Siler, Theodore Roosevelt Siler,  Tandy Jacob Siler, and Harold Lloyd Siler.

He is survived by his son, Bradley Jacob Siler, and wife, Sandra, of Orange Park, FL; daughter, Alice Faye Schneider, and husband, Christian, of Flowery Branch, GA; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Mickayla, Taylor, Savannah, Christian, Erika, and Krystal; daughter-in-law, Lisa Siler, of Davie, FL, and a host of friends, neighbors and other relatives to mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, March 2, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral will immediately follow on Saturday afternoon, March 2, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel. 

Graveside Service and interment will follow in the Siler-Anderson Cemetery located in the Mud Creek Community of Whitley County.

Cox & Son Funeral home of Jellico is in charge of all arrangements.
