CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Multiple agencies responded to an I-75 tractor trailer fire in the wee hours of Saturday morning just north of the Huntsville-Oneida Exit, 141.

“We were called out at 1:16am today at Mile Marker 143, and fortunately there were no injuries,” said Caryville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Eddie Hatmaker.

The fire was on the northbound side of I-75 and kept traffic at bay for a while.

Along with the CVFD, units from Jacksboro and La Follette Fire Departments and the Campbell County Rural Fire Service assisted.
