William David Long, age 74 of Rocky Top, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1949 to the late William George and Bonnie Braden Long in Anderson County. He enjoyed fishing and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Jesse Steven Long.

He is survived by: son, George Long; grandchildren, Billy Long, Elizabeth Long, Triston Long, Tenley Long; sisters, Sally Haun and husband David, Sharon Hill and husband Don; special people in his life, Noah Roach and Chloe Roach; several other family members and many friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 11am-1pm with the funeral service to follow at 1pm with Rev.
