Twyla “Jane” Phillips, age 71 of Caryville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 8, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1952 to the late Clyde and Margie Carter. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Jane loved flowers, enjoyed doing anything that included her grandchildren, and getting together with family to watch UT Athletics. She was a beloved member of Willowbrook Baptist Church and played the piano there for many years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by granddaughter, Ally Phillips; father and mother-in-law, Otis and Midge Phillips.

She is survived by husband of 51 years, John David Phillips; sons, Tim Phillips and wife Tina, Mike Phillips and wife Trina; grandchildren, Isaac, Alainnah, and Keira. She is also survived by brothers, Dan Carter and wife Barbara, and Tony Carter; brothers-in-law, Gary Phillips and wife Sandi, Joe Phillips and wife Kelly; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Leach Family Funeral Home and Cremation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 5-7pm with the funeral service to follow at 7pm with Pastor Roger Leach officiating.
