Bobby Gene Medley, age 74 departed this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Summit View of Rocky Top. He was born on October 17, 1949, to the late Elbert Medley and Annie Lee (Womack) Medley. Bobby was a loving husband of 36 years, father, and grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family and his cats. He was a member of several different churches and founder of Campbell County Youth Ministries. Bobby also enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, riding motorcycles, fostering animals, and spending time in the mountains.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Faye Medley; brother Wayne Medley; and his sister Louise Medley Brown.

Bobby is survived by his sons Trevor Medley of Knoxville, Damon Medley and wife Jaime of Knoxville, and Matthew Waugh of Caryville; daughter Patricia Siwinski and husband Michael of Caryville and Sharon Slover and Mitch of Jacksboro; brother James Medley and Nancy of Georgia; sister Linda Sue Keyworth and husband Tom of Colorado; grandchildren Johnnie Ward and  Ethan of Maryville, William Simpson of Springfield, Missouri, Dallas Medley of Florida, Austin Slover of Jacksboro, Noah Cooper of Jacksboro, Kayden Slover of Jacksboro, Carter Medley of Knoxville, Gianna Medley of Knoxville, Grayson Waugh of Knoxville, and Sadie Waugh of Knoxville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, 305 E. Beech Street, LaFollette TN, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mike Aiken officiating.
