Jack Petitt, age 90 of Caryville passed away Sunday, December 24th. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He is preceded in death by parents Sam and Vista Goins Petitt, Grandson Aaron Jordan, sister Mary Nell Foster and Willie Hamilton, brothers Bud Petitt, William Everett Petitt, Charles and George Petitt.

Survivors:

Daughters: Diane and David Nance, Mary and John Lamb, Sherry Petitt, Terry Carroll and Mark Armentrout.

Grandchildren: Jason Nance, Chelsea Jordan and Bobby Davis, Patrick Lamb, Branden and Samantha Carroll, LaTosha and John Wigginton, Jack Carroll.

Great-Grandchildren: Baron Jordan, Easton Ayers, Lakely Davis, Ally Lamb, Sophia Carroll, Maleia Carroll, Zander Carroll, Madilynn Wigginton.

Friend and mother of his children: Barbara Archer Petitt

Special Nieces: Caroline, Judy, and Brenda.

Special Caregivers: Nephy, Suzette, and Billie.

Special Friends: Marty and Susie Jackson and all of his friends at Momma’s Kitchen,

Along with other several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Family will receive friend from 5 to 7 PM Thursday, December 28th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Bean officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Friday, December 29th, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery for 12 Noon interment with military honors provided by Honor Guard of Campbell County.
