Donald Gordon “Butch” McKinney, age70 of Rocky Top, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. He was born on November 24, 1953 to the late Donald Gordon and Delores Jones McKinney in Florida. Butch enjoyed camping and fishing, hunting mistletoe and selling poinsettias. When he was able, he enjoyed sharing his passion for the outdoors with underprivileged children. Butch also loved his dachshund “Shadow” and was very grieved when he passed away.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, LouAnn Anderson; and brothers, David McKinney and Gary McKinney.

He is survived by brother, Clayton McKinney and wife Tina; nephew, Patrick Flatt and wife Kimberly; niece, Alisha Alas; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family and friends.
