JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The William Blount Governors travelled from Maryville on Tuesday to battle against your Cougars. Campbell, three and seven on the year, was in desperate need of a win. On the flip side, the eight and one William Blount Governors were looking to maintain a five-game winning streak.

Watch Clayton Carroll’s and Josh Parker’s call of the night of basketball on demand HERE over WLAF.

Much of the same continued in the fourth as William Blount poured it on the Cougars. At one point in the final frame, the Govs led the Cougars by 33. When the final horn sounded, William Blount left John Brown Gym with the W by a score of 77-51.

Unofficially, Gavin Cox led the Cougars in the scoring column with 15 points. Gavin Owens racked up 10. Luke Browning scored six points. Jordan Day and Brady Hatmaker had four points apiece. Ethan Dorton scored three. Will Croley, Logan Day, Gabe St. John , and Keegan Nelson all tallied two points.
