JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Thursday night, the Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen met with a light agenda.

There was a second reading of Ordinance 132 amending the zoning ordinance from R1-B2 for a property on Eagle Bluff Rd.

The board approved the purchase of four new tires for the street department truck from JR’s Tires for $1,200.

The purchase of three new computers was approved for the police department from PCS in Knoxville. A Use of Force Policy was approved for the police department.

In Fire Department, business the board approved the purchase of new badges.

In the monthly beer board meeting five beer permits were approved for 2024 beginning with Dash n Go 2, Tobacco Mercantile, Dollar General, Wal-Mart, and Eagle Mart. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/12/2023-6AM)
