Two separate brush fires burn more than 100 combined acres

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Firefighters were dispatched at 2pm to two different fires on Tuesday. One brush fire was burning at Adam Hollow while the other was on Stinking Creek Road across from Meredith Cemetery.

Some seven hours later, crews with the Campbell County Rural Fire Service were able to clear the scene at Adam Hollow around 9pm. The Forestry Service reports 58 acres were burned at Adam Hollow.

More than 100 total acres burned on Tuesday during two separate brush fires.
