Mr. Jimmy Ray Ford age 54 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  Jimmy was a proud United States Army and Army National Guard Veteran, serving his Country for over 30 years.  Jimmy served in several combat tours overseas and was very proud to do so.  Jimmy was a true Army Soldier and loved his Country.  He was of the Baptist Faith. 

Jimmy was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend to all who knew him.  Jimmy was a person who could lay his hands on anything and fix it, he had a wealth of knowledge and shared that knowledge with any and all of his friends and fellow Soldiers.

Preceded in death by Grandparents, Sam and Kitty Ford and Leon and Frankie Hatmaker, Parents, Sam Ford and Patricia Ford, Brother, Mickey Ford.

Jimmy is survived by Son and Daughter-in-law, Jacob and Megan Ford; Granddaughter, Annaliese; Sister, Kim Thomas and Terry; Brothers, Brian Ford DeCarlo and Don, Lee Ford and Mike; Little Sister, Elizabeth Graham and Roger; Nephews, Harlan Ford and KD, and Russell Ford and Ashley; Niece who he loved dearly, Cheyanne Owens and Caleb.  Many friends, fellow Soldiers and neighbors that he considered family.      

Military Honors will be conducted Saturday, September 30, 2023, 2:30 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home by the Honor Guard of Campbell County.  A Memorial Service will follow with Rev. Scott Bullman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:30 P.M. Saturday before services.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Jimmy Ray Ford.
