JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – What does a win in a jamboree game mean? Not a thing. And I have 10 wins of proof. The 2013 season opened with a loss in Campbell’s jamboree quarter, and the Cougars promptly marched to a 10 and 2 season winning their first playoff game and claiming a district championship that included a win over Oak Ridge.

The Jamboree quarter is tonight, Fri., Aug. 11, at Hardin Valley. “The first quarter is at 7 pm and we will play South Doyle in second quarter,” said Cougar Head Coach Justin Price.

The Cougars 2023 football schedule includes some firsts; two Thursday games and nine of ten 7 pm kick-offs along with two first-time opponents. CCHS plays The Kings Academy at Seymour and Daniel Boone at home in inaugural meetings. The Thursday games serve as bookends to the season.
