Mr. Nelson Woodrow Lay

Age 91, a resident of Miamisburg, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, peacefully at home. He was born on December 27, 1931, to the late Arley and Nell (Smith) Lay in LaFollette, TN.

Nelson is survived by his daughter L. Jean Estes, a son Gary Nelson, 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, sister Wanda Leach and family, and brother Arley Lay Jr. and family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Betty L. Lay, granddaughter Angela Alcorn, and son-in-law Gary Estes. He worked as a printer and press operator for McCalls and Kimberly Clark.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, Miamisburg, OH. Burial Highland Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
