Dean “Deano” Wilhoit, age 57, of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at his home. He enjoyed fishing, hotrods, mechanics, farming and carpentry. But, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his mother: Naomi Ivey Wilhoit which he adored, grandparents: George and Sally Mynatt Wilhoit, Clyde and Cora Maxwell Ivey, step-son: J.R. Cheel, uncles: Johnny and Jesse Ivey, Charlie Wilhoit, J.P. Holbrook and Kenneth Paxton, aunt: Sarah Wilhoit Paxton, cousins: Jimmy A Ivey, Michael Holbrook and Ricky Kinyon.

Daughter: Jennifer Williams of Corbin KY

Fiancé: Bonnie Letteer of LaFollette

Step-daughter: Danielle (Paul) Myers

Step-sons: Robert (Nicky) and Royal (Justina) Cheel all of LaFollette

6 Grandchildren

Father: Dean and wife Rita Wilhoit of LaFollette

Brother: Bobby (Jamie) Wilhoit

Sister: Pamela Wilhoit and fiancé Scott Cross

Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family will receive friends 5-6 PM, Friday, June 30th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service following at 6 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Marcus Gillum officiating.
