Anneliese McCullah, age 81 of LaFollette

Mrs. Anneliese McCullah, age 81 of LaFollette, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023.  She was born and raised in Amberg, Germany.  Mrs. McCullah was a devoted member of Well Springs Methodist Church, member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and formerly employed with KDI Precision Products.  She was an accomplished seamstress since the age of 13, loved to knit, and created many items for her family over the years.  One of her passions was volunteering with the Harlan County Humane Society for over 20 years.  Preceded in death by Husband, Jesse V. McCullah, Mother, Elisabeth Walter, Brothers, Erwin Walter, Conrad Walter, and Oskar Walter.    

 Survivors:  Children, Earl David McCullah, Elisabeth J. Mickey (Willard), Larry W. McCullah (Deb), and Elmer McCullah; Grandchildren, Erik, Jennifer, Sarah, Kaitlyn, and Tonia; Great-Grandchildren, Carson, Ayva, Kaylee, and Roselynn; Aunt, Utta Walter; Sisters-in-Law, Betty Ayers, and Merle McCullah; Very special dear friends of over 60 years, Willene Farmer; Her beloved animals, Dog, Spike and 5 Cats whom she adored.  Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives, and Friends.    

 Funeral Services, Saturday, June 17, 2023, 10:00 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. C. Bruce and Rev. Ray Penn officiating.  Interment to follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Harlan County Humane Society, 420 Tway Hollow Road, Harlan, KY  40831.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Anneliese McCullah.
