Johnny “John” Lee Gregg Sr., age 72 of Gary, Indiana, passed away on March 29, 2023, at the Methodist Hospital in Merrillville, Indiana. John was born in Lake City, Tennessee on December 2, 1950, to the late Carl Lindsay and Willie Mae Marlow Lindsay. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by grandson: Anthony, his adolescent brother James Lindsay, infant sisters Mary Ruth and Dolly Lindsay, and sisters Patricia Louise Lindsay Halk, Bonnie Lucille Foust, and Vadaline “Faye” Brewer and her daughter, Tammy.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM, Friday, April 14, 2023, in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Lindsay officiating.

Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 1:15 PM to go in procession to the Mountain View Cemetery in Lake City for a 2:00 PM graveside service with Military Honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
