JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Thursday night the Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen met with a light agenda.

First up for approval was advertising for bids to purchase equipment for the fire department.

The board approved hiring two police officers, Timothy Collingsworth and Cory Lawson. The officers were approved as part time at the rate of $15.50 per hour. The officers will work part time as needed.

The resignation of Fireman Jason Paulauskas was accepted.

In the final business of the night the board approved releasing the funds for the donation to the Jacksboro Cemetery Association. The donation for this year is $1,500. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/07/2023-6AM)
