Ruby Lynch age 97, of LaFollette

Ruby Lynch age 97, of LaFollette went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2022.

She was a member of LaFollette United Methodist Church. She worked at Oak Ridge during WW2 helping to make the atomic bomb and later James and Ruby managed Shanghai Marina from 1963-1971. She loved fishing, playing rook, solitaire, and loved to travel, garden, quilting, and enjoyed time with her grandson and great-grandson.

Ruby was preceded in death by her Husband James P. Lynch;

Parents, Isaac R. and Dosha Farris Sweat;

Brothers, Harland C. Sweat and Chalmer D. Sweat;

Sisters, Arrettus V. Sweat, Zella Cantrell, and Wanda Lee Pierce.

Survivors,

Sons James P. Lynch Jr. and Wife Patsy, Stephen J. Lynch and Wife June;

Grandson S. Matthew Lynch and Wife Mandie H. Lynch;

Great Grandson, Elijah Matthew Lynch\

Family will receive friends on Sunday October 23, 2022 from 5:00-7:00PM in the chapel of Cross-Smith Funeral Home with a service to follow.

Family and friends will meet at 10:15AM on Monday October 24, 2022 to go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00AM Graveside Service.
