MORLEY, TN (WLAF) – On Wednesday afternoon, 26-year- old Aaron Lee Perkins, wanted for burglary and other charges, was traveling on Hwy 25W near the Morley turn off. Perkins was spotted behind the wheel by Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Raymond Surber.

Surber knew Perkins had an outstanding warrant, based on the arrest report from the sheriff’s office, and conducted a traffic stop on Keysa Lane. Perkins was arrested and transported to the Campbell County Jail.

Perkins, 26, of 179 Webb Lane, Newcomb, was charged with burglary, theft of property under a thousand dollars, aggravated burglary, theft of property under $10,000 and fraudulent use of a credit card. Perkins remains housed in the county jail this morning without bond and is due in court on Feb. 17. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/07/2022-6AM)
