JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Former Jacksboro Eagle legend Chris Johnson led the Campbell County Cougars to their first ever winning season in football in 2004. Two of the legend’s records at Jacksboro Middle School were broken over the 2020 season by Eagle quarterback Landen Hensley. All the more reason to think Hensley’s future looks very bright for the Cougars.

Hensley set four single season records; total yards, touchdowns, passing yards and passing touchdowns. He totaled 2,515 total yards, 2,019 passing yards, 32 touchdowns and 27 passing touchdowns. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/24/2022-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF WLAF’S PAT PEBLEY)
