TOP PHOTO: The La Follette Fire Department’s Medical Rescue Truck has already answered many calls since it was put into service a month ago tomorrow. Its latest run was to a mid-day wreck on the four lane on Wednesday. 

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two cars collided in the noon hour today on the four lane in front of Hardee’s on the Jacksboro bound side.

According to La Follette Fire Chief Jimmy Pack, the door on this Volkswagen had to be popped in order to free the driver.

Traffic was at a standstill for a short while before one lane could be opened. One person was transported to the La Follette Medical Center.

This car was also involved in Wednesday’s noon hour wreck.
