Michael Wayne Wilson, age 41, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 12 at his mother’s home after a long battle with cancer. Michael was born on October 3, 1979 to his parents Jerry and Betty Boshears Wilson. Preceded in death by father: Jerry Wilson, grandparents: Parnick Boshears, Artella Bolton, Clayton and Ruth Wilson, special uncle: Ronnie Verlin Wilson, cousin: Clayton Wilson and Brother-in-law Darren Morrison.

Michael leaves behind a loving mother, Betty Wilson who was a precious caretaker to the end, son: Trevor and Sky Wilson, daughters: Kaylin Wilson, Jayden Wilson, Kissta Wilson, step-daughters: Autumn Jones, Haley Johnson, sisters: Chasity and Danny Rogers, Anna Ruth and Arlie Hammitte, a precious grandmother and wonderful cook Pat Boshears Carson, special aunts: Angie and Von Wilson, Lou Goins, Diane Boshears, Shanna Monday and families.

Also, a great host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Special friends: David and Johnny Draughn, Nikki Vinsant, Cindy Williamson.

A heart felt thanks to U.T. Hospice Group, U.T. doctors, nurses and hospital.

Family will receive friends at Cross-Smith Funeral Home Sunday, August 15 from 1-3 PM with funeral service to follow at 3 PM with Chaplain Ben Neal and Rev. Greg Miller officiating. Interment to follow at Boshears Family Cemetery
