Linda Sue Cornett, age 57 of Heiskell passed away may 2, 2021 at her residence.  She was born July 18, 1964 in Clinton, TN. She loved crafting, baking and designing cakes, the outdoors and spending time with family. Linda is preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Sue Cornett and grandson, Nolan Taylor. Survivors included her father, Fred Cornett of Lake City, Sons, Dustin Taylor & Kimberly of Knoxville, Christopher Taylor & Brandi Gibb of Heiskell and Michael Taylor and Elizabeth Bolden of Knoxville; brothers, Wayne Cornett of Lake City, Freddy Cornett & Donna of Clinton, Jimmy Cornett of Lake City, grandchildren, Zane, Korbin and Kayson Taylor, special friends, Judy Heath and Melinda Atkins, uncle, J.C. & Betty Aslinger of Bellevue, OH, aunt, Polly Gibson of Briceville, TN, cousins, James and Phillip Aslinger of Bellevue, OH.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home.

Family and Friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to the Mountain View Cemetery in Lake City for an 11:00 AM interment.
