JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell County Courthouse is operating on limited access Monday March 15, 2021, due to unplanned staff absences according to County Mayor E.L. Morton.

Courts are in session Monday with bailiffs allowing entry upstairs according to the court schedule.  Please contact the Circuit Court Clerk for access at 423-562-2624.

The County Court Clerk Walk-up window is open on the west side of the Courthouse.

Outside drop boxes are available for the Trustee and Register of Deeds at the west side entry way.

Offices are staffed and taking calls, so please call the county office you need before you travel to ensure access.  Some staff is available to meet customers outside on a case by case basis.

The Courthouse Annex in Jellico remains open (mask required).

The Health Department and American Job Center remain open with some access modifications.

The LaFollette Courthouse annex drive through remains open.  Please call the VA office before you travel.  They are meeting Veterans by appointment at 423-562-3531.

The County Commission will still meet in the lower courtroom at 6pm and will provide temperature checks and screenings at the double door entryway to the justice center on the east side of the courthouse.

Plans are to re-open Tuesday with two entry points with temperature checks/screening at; (1) the double doors to the justice center on the east side and (2) the glass door by the Trustee’s Office on the west side.
