LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – For the past five years, Cedar Hill Baptist Church has served as our charter organization for Boy Scout Troop 310.  Over those five years, we have been through a lot, and we have all grown.   With that, we would not have been able to do so without Cedar Hill and Pastor Ronnie Arnold.  He and the church have been there with us every single step of the way, from helping monetarily to praying with us before our events.

We have had countless first experiences, had countless opportunities to help our community and so many other adventures and challenges.  They have sent us to summer camp on multiple occasions.  They have allowed us to stay there and continue our journeys and have assured all of our young men have what they need to not only succeed, but to excel as scouts.

Yes, Troop 310 does a vast amount of amazing things, from ushering in the Governor last week to helping other states in times of need, but in order to get rolling, you have to be pushed.  Cedar Hill Baptist Church has not only pushed but kept pushing and driving us to succeed.

It has been an honor to be hosted by Cedar Hill and serve our community with them.  With all of this, on behalf of Troop 310, we would like to say thank you and express our sincere gratitude for all that Pastor Arnold and Cedar Hill have done for us as a Troop.  We hope to have many more years to come and grow as individuals and as a Troop in the coming years.

We would also like to thank Cedar Hill Baptist Church Pastor Bryan Byrge.  We look forward to a long, bright, future ahead with him and the church.

Finally, I would like to congratulate the Scouts, Leaders, and Scout Parents of Troop 310 for five years running strong.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/08/2020-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
