JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – State Rep. Dennis Powers has received another endorsement.  Last week, the Tennessee Professional Fire Fighters Association sent Powers a letter informing him that members of the TPFFA are endorsing Powers candidacy for House District 36.

“I’m honored to get the endorsement of these first responders that serve our state so well.  We must support all our first responders as they lay their life on the line for us when they get the 911 call,” said Powers.

Powers sold out Blue Jeans and Bluegrass rally is Monday

The “Rally in the Valley” with Gov. Bill and Maria Lee in support of State Rep. Dennis Powers is set for this evening.

The Stables hosts Dennis Powers and guests later on Monday.

Powers said, “We sold out pretty fast and expect a really good turnout.”

Maria Lee and Tracy Powers will be attending the rally for Dennis Powers on Monday night.  Lee is the wife of Governor Bill Lee while Powers is the wife of Representative Dennis Powers.

The VIP Reception with the Governor, including photos, starts at 5 pm.  The music begins at 5:30 pm with dinner served at 6 pm.
