LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Firefighters with the La Follette Fire Department snuffed out a car fire late this morning.  It marks the second day in a row for area firefighters to  battle vehicle fires.  There were two such fires on Monday that the Campbell County Rural Fire Service handled.

LFD Assistant Fire Chief Eddie Hatmaker said, “The car was on fire in the alley that runs between North 13th Street and Riggs right behind the Claiborne Olds-Cadillac building.”  No one was injured.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/04/2020-6AM)
