JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The July 2020 Campbell County meetings calendar has been released with one update added.  Please note that many of the meetings are undecided at this time as to whether the meeting will be held in person or online.  On Monday afternoon, Amanda Grodeman, Administrative Assistant for the Campbell County Commission, Industrial Development Board and Joint Economic & Community Development Board, released information on the meetings that are set to be held via Zoom.At this time, the following meetings will be held via zoom; Infrastructure Committee, Budget & finance Committee on 7/9 & 7/13, and Commission workshop. Grodeman adds, “As done for our previous Zoom Commission Workshop, anyone wishing to address the commission will need to submit their request to this office no later than 2pm on Monday, July 13, 2020. Included in request: FULL NAME, ORGANIZATION (if applicable), ADDRESS, SUMMARY OF TOPICS TO BE DISCUSSED, any supporting documentation or “handouts” for the commission to consider or reference.”
Each speaker will be given three-minutes to present. Please do not speak or interject unless Chairman Johnny Bruce grants permission. Before addressing individual commissioners, speaker must first ask permission from the chairman. If you wish to speak at a different time, please use the RAISE HAND feature, typically located under the triple ellipses (…) in your Zoom app, and the chairman will consider the request.
