TOP PHOTO:  Jacksboro-bound travelers now have two lanes through Downtown La Follette.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – La Follette was a one-lane town for more than a month.  For now, it’s back to a three-lane traffic configuration in Downtown La Follette.

The Central Avenue Bridge refurbishment project forced La Follette into a dramatic traffic pattern change starting last September.  In April, when the flower bed project began, traffic was funneled down to one lane for a long stretch through town.  Beginning Wednesday afternoon, the Jacksboro-bound side of traffic was switched back to two lanes.
